The Iris, our elevated take on a classic Jupe table, is a mechanical marvel that extends a circular table out in all directions to create a larger circular table. When you commission your Iris Jupe Table, we’ll work closely with you to select the specific size, style, and wood type to fully customize it for your space. We can also elevate the piece with hand-carved elements or inlay work to create a truly on-of-a-kind piece of functional art. The Iris Jupe extendable wood dining table is meticulously designed, and expertly executed, resulting in an absolute showstopper for your dining room. The leaves of this piece are composed of one rosette that rises out of the table in concert with the opening of the wedges as the top is turned, then the outer leaves are unfolded, and pins lock into place as the table completes its rotation. We named this piece the Iris table because it suggests an aperture like the iris of an eye and is also reminiscent of a blooming flower.
